Initially the funds were received by the William J. Clinton Foundation in lieu of the official Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. Presidents Clinton and Bush oversaw the CBHF through their respective nonprofit organizations, the William J. Clinton Foundation and Communities Foundation of Texas. One hundred percent of donations received by the Clinton Foundation and the Communities Foundation of Texas were promised to go directly to relief efforts.
It has been widely publicized that billions of dollars have yet to be transferred to help the people of Haiti. This fact is even recognized by the Secretary General of the United Nations.
President Clinton in the United Nations Special Envoy to Haiti. So he helped collect the money and he's overseeing how it is spent.
The public deserves to know how much of the funds raised by the Clinton Foundation for Haiti was transferred to Haiti Earthquake relief.
This would be easy to evaluate if the CF had published it required IRS form 990 2010, which as of November 28th 2011 it has not.
